| Dr. Dennis Woggon | |
 | Dr. Dennis Woggon founded the CLEAR™ Scoliosis Institute, a non-profit focused on developing treatments for scoliosis without braces or surgery. He also opened and led the St. Cloud Chiropractic Clinic in St. Cloud, Minnesota, where he worked full-time from 1974 to 2024. In 1992, he earned a certification in Videofluoroscopy from Palmer College and spent 28 years teaching Spinal Biomechanics. Dr. Woggon wrote many articles and books about chiropractic care and gave lectures across the United States and internationally. We were honored to welcome him as a guest speaker at our 2014 Massage Therapy for Spinal Curvatures CE seminar in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Woggon passed away in September 2024. We are grateful to have videos of his lecture, which we include in our Massage Therapy for Spinal Curvatures Pre-Recorded Webinar courses. |
| Karena Thek | |
 | Scolio-Pilates emerged from a desire to help a specific client with scoliosis and to relieve the pain from her own scoliosis. Karena wrote her first book, OsteoPilates, in 2003, as a result of working directly with a high percentage of women with osteoporosis and without a reliable resource to steer them towards safe exercise for osteoporosis. In 2013, Karena began working at the Wounded Warrior Battalion, part of the C5 (Comprehensive Combat and Complex Casualty Care) Unit at the San Diego Naval Medical Center. She continues to volunteer her time there, working with soldiers who have complex injuries. It is here that Karena is beginning part of her study for her next book, Neuro-Pilates®.
