COURSE DESCRIPTION
Note: This is a comprehensive course, suggested for therapists who enjoy a challenge and have time to absorb portions rather than trying to complete it in one sitting. This is a pre-recorded webinar. Participants will watch four PowerPoint video lectures, which occasionally direct viewers to supplementary videos relevant to the lesson.
–This engaging twelve-hour pre-recorded webinar is meticulously organized into four comprehensive video segments, each featuring interactive quiz questions and detailed reviews in preparation for the final examination. Join us for a thorough exploration of the intricate nature and significant impacts of vibration, from its historical origins to contemporary applications.
–The course encompasses demonstrations of various vibration devices employed in massage clinics, along with insightful studies concerning the implementation of Whole-Body Vibration (WBV) in hospitals for the treatment of diverse medical conditions.
–Participants will have direct access to specialists who will explain the principles of vibration at the quantum level, highlighting their relevance to human health and guiding effective therapeutic decisions.
–Experience the compelling concept of the human body as an extraordinary quantum machine. In recent years, significant advancements have been made in the medical field’s understanding of the therapeutic applications of vibration. As emerging research yields promising results, our comprehension of this potent force continues to deepen.
–For therapists intending to incorporate vibration technology, understanding the underlying science and discerning fact from fiction is essential. Such knowledge ensures effective treatment and mitigates potential risks.
–This course provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamental properties of vibration and its critical role in medical and therapeutic contexts. Particularly with Whole Body Vibration (WBV), vibration can offer considerable health benefits; however, misuse or misunderstanding may result in adverse effects.
–Furthermore, enhance your massage practice by learning how vibration influences clients, especially those exposed to workplace vibrations or daily noise pollution, which can induce physical and psychological stress. Are there specific frequencies that confer health benefits? Which frequencies are safe for human tissues? Which are most effective for cartilage, joints, disc collagen, muscles, and bones? Could therapists tailor treatment strategies based on their understanding of vibrations?
–Explore the connection between vibration and emotional health, along with how various breathing techniques can influence this relationship. Gain insights from Dr. Hameroff regarding the remarkable quantum vibrations within brain neurons.
–For those interested in tuning forks, the course discusses their applications used by massage therapists, neurologists, and orthopedic physicians, supported by relevant studies involving diabetic patients and complemented by informative videos.
–By the conclusion of this course, participants will have a full understanding of why the human body is aptly described as “a magnificent quantum physics machine.”
OBJECTIVES / OUTCOMES
- Objective: List and explain different forms and types of vibration. Outcome: Demonstrates understanding of the topic.
- Connect links between quantum and biosciences. Outcome: Understand their importance for the future of healthcare.
- Compare historical values to current research. Outcome: Realize the safe and realistic use of vibration therapies.
- Differentiate between daily vibratory exposure and that experienced in healthcare. Outcome: Educate clients about both the beneficial and adverse side effects of vibration.
- Identify work-related vibratory overexposures, such as heavy equipment use, long-term big-rig driving, and similar low-frequency linear-vibration exposures. Outcome: Determine effective treatment options considering actual and potential contraindications.
- Use resonance breathing techniques. Outcome: Support systemic healing and induce calm.
- Base therapeutic decisions on deeper knowledge. Outcome: Achieve optimal results in complex cases.
- Discuss safety considerations related to vibration equipment used in massage clinics. Outcome: Promote responsible, safe, and ethical use.
- Comprehend the utilization of vibration tools within medical disciplines. Outcome: Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Explain safety factors specific to WBV. Outcome: Prevent accidents, injuries, or adverse long-term effects.
- Observe detailed therapy with hands-on techniques and machine vibration. Outcome: Skillfully incorporate vibration into therapy sessions.
- Observe the anatomical angles and the use of props during the session. Outcome: To address specific and unique needs.
GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THIS COURSE: This is a pre-recorded webinar. Participants will watch four PowerPoint video lectures, which occasionally direct viewers to supplementary videos relevant to the lesson. Upon completion, an exam will be available. The platform permits five attempts to achieve a passing score of at least 70%. Upon successful completion, a certificate is issued and is also available for download or printing from your profile at any time.
BONUS AND MORE ABOUT TESTING: An Abridged Copy of our Therapeutic Application & Study of Mechanical Vibration course is available for free download when you buy this pre-recorded webinar. It serves as a great study guide when watching the video lessons and as a resource for your professional library. A preview download of the exam is also available before the course begins, allowing students to print a copy and keep it handy while viewing the course. Simply mark your answers as you go, and when it is time to test, copy your answers into the final exam. Or go straight to the test after watching all four videos—it’s your choice! NOTE that when you are ready to test, the exam must be completed as a single, continuous test; it cannot be submitted in parts.
