Therapists are allowed five attempts to pass their test. After five failures, they need to buy the course again and might consider switching to a different subject.
In the event a therapist arrives late, departs early, or fails to attend any portion of a Continuing Education (CE) seminar, such time will be subtracted from the total credited hours. Certain state massage boards enforce an all-or-nothing policy, which does not recognize partial hours for courses approved for a designated number of hours. It is advisable to consult with your respective state board in advance if you anticipate attending fewer hours than scheduled.
For states that accept partial CE credits, such as attending only six hours of a 12-hour seminar or missing time during the presentation, reported hours are adjusted accordingly.
There is no make-up time for missing seminar hours.
Therapists registering for seminars that include complimentary home study materials promoted within the seminar package must make full payment and attend the seminar in order to receive continuing education (CE) credits for the free home study component.
Student information is securely stored in our encrypted serverand on a second backup storage server.
SOM Therapy and Associates does not sell, trade, or otherwise share personal information, such as names, email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers, buying history, grades, or certificates unless requested by the student, or their state board or professional organization for maintaining licensure or certification, or where a legal enforcement exists.

To apply for a qualified refund or credit on non-seminar items, written request must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.
Due to high costs of securing seminar venues that are non-refundable to the CE provider and the amount of time the provider invests once an attendee has signed up for a CE event, seminar refunds are not available.
Confirmation receipts are printable at the time of order when paying online. All purchases must be completed on the website; we cannot accept checks or money orders. Currently, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards.

Regarding extended research on a therapist’s history of purchases and earned CE hours, a charge may apply to long- reaching research services for special situations. Fees range from $25 to $125.00.
